Location; The lake is situated at the top end of Tonypandy, in Rhondda's only nature reserve, adjacent to the County Court building.

Additional information; Fly fishing only.The season runs from the 20th of March 2005, to the 17th of October 2005. The lake is stocked with good quality 2½lb - 14lb rainbow trout every month, and brown trout to 1lb The Glyncornel Lake season permit also includes fishing the RiverRhondda, and Darran Park Lake, Ferndale.
