Owner Permit; Neath & District A/C Availability; Day & season tickets Tel; 01639 701899 Fish Specie; Brown Trout Web Site; www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/dulais.htm Additional information; The River Dulais rises below the slopes of Mynydd y Drum and flows south-west passing the settlements of Seven Sisters and Crynant before cascading over the Aberdulais Falls below which it joins the Neath close to the tidal reaches of the River near Tonna. The river is essentially a brown trout fishery as the Aberdulais Falls forms a natural barrier to migratory species moving into the headwaters. Although the National Trust, in conjunction with a power-generating company, have installed a fish-pass at the falls to assist the passage of migratory fish there is no long-term record at present to show what effect the pass is having on migratory fish stocks. for Glyncorrwg Situated in Cymmer Tel; 01639 850901 Location; Port Talbot The jack stones at port talbot is ok for some easy fishing, there are millions of whiting and pouting to be taken on fish baits etc. there are some nice strap conger taken at winter time as well as a possiblity of codling or cod if things get realy cold, but most are taken from the long arm pier at corus, but its worth a try. theres also a few dab taken. care should be taken on the large spring tides as the pier does become flooded and the jack stones can get very slippery which makes landing your catch harder. all in all its easy fishing for the lazy man. dab and cod are taken on lug worm.
