Additional information; Fed by the River Corrwg and other mountain streams the ponds cover six acres. The lakes are well stocked with Rainbow trout and coarse fish. The fishery caters for all anglers fishing with a worm, catch and release or dry fly. The ponds are open daily throughout the year except Christmas day.

Additional information; The River Neath rises between Fan Fraith and Fan Nedd in the Brecon Beacons. In the picturesque waterfall area above Pont-nedd-fechan the river flows south where it is joined by the tributaries of the Pyrddin, Hepste, Mellte and Sychryd. The river continues southwest passing Glynneath and Resolven before reaching the confluence with the River Dulais at Aberdulais.   The river is regularly stocked with brown trout and has a growing reputation for the annual runs of sea-trout and salmon which enter the system.

The jack stones at port talbot is ok for some easy fishing, there are millions of whiting and pouting to be taken on fish baits etc. there are some nice strap conger taken at winter time as well as a possiblity of codling or cod if things get realy cold, but most are taken from the long arm pier at corus, but its worth a try. theres also a few dab taken. care should be taken on the large spring tides as the pier does become flooded and the jack stones can get very slippery which makes landing your catch harder. all in all its easy fishing for the lazy man. dab and cod are taken on lug worm.
